New Digital Camera

My new digital camera arrive on Friday as I had hoped. I've started playing with it but need to practice more.

I took a picture of one of my WIP. It is a sweater, Irish Moss from theBestofKnitter's Magazine Arans and Celtics. I'm knitting it in Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool, color 08 (Moss). I love the way it's turning out so far. I have the back and the front done. All that's left is the sleeves, the button bands and collar, then finishing. As I read back over the last sentence, it suddenly seems like I have a way to go on the sweater. The sweater's design is all done in twisted stitches and is actually and easy pattern to memorize.

Yesterday my daughter, granddaughters and I visited Knit One in Pittsburgh. It's a lovely yarn shop with way too much temptation inside. It was my first trip to this yarn shop and certainly not my last. Definitely a good place to increase the stash!
We also stopped at Dyed in the Wool. Another great place for stash increasing. We had a good time and picked up enough knitting supplies to keep our fingers busy for a while.
